A.K Mago is Chairman and CEO of Mago and Associates a Dallas based business

And investment consulting co. Through his varied and extensive contributions to

Public service, A.K has acquired and developed a broad portfolio of expertise in public policy issues such as commerce, trade and education.

 

A.K holds a MBA degree from University of Texas at Dallas.

 

A.K currently is chairman of Greater Dallas Indo-American Chamber, a member of Dallas Citizens Council and Dallas Together Forum.  A.K now serves on several other boards—DFW International Air Port Board, Dallas County work Source Development Board, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Dallas Museums of Arts, Salvation army advisory board of Dallas County, Dallas Urban League, Dallas County Community College District Foundation Board, and SMU Advisory Board of Asian Studies Program, Member Dallas Breakfast Group. A.K participates in an eclectic set of activities.

 

A.K has contributed to the community through service on variety of boards and commissions in the past— Chairman  Greater Dallas Community Relations Commission, Chairman Board of Trustees DFW Hindu Temple Society,  Chairman Asian American Chamber of commerce, Chairman Asian Charity Ball, Executive Board and Board of Greater Dallas Chamber, Executive Board and Board of Dallas Visitors and Convention Bureau, Leadership Dallas Alumni Association, District Governor of District 2X1 of Lions International, Commissioner City of Dallas Plan and Zoning Commission, Dallas Symphony, North Texas Commission, DFW Airport International Marketing Committee, Mayor’s Asian Advisory Board, Mayor’s Summer Youth Program Commission, Dallas County Park & Open Space Board, President Asian Charity Ball Inc., Chancellor’s Advisory Board-Dallas Community College, President Dallas Indian Lions Club.

 

As recognition of his services, A.K was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by the Leadership Dallas Alumni Association in 94. He received the Distinguished International Leadership Award from Lions International in 96. He was featured in Dallas Morning News High Profile in Feb 97. A.K was recipient of 99 Bridging the Gap Award and the M Company Hall of Fame Award. Linz Award Nominee.

 

A.K is married to Monica and have two children, Ajay and Anita.
