Unity Day USA 2007

Unity Day USA 2007 - A 9/11 Event On this day we honored our men and women in uniform, the police and the fire, and the ones who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 by expressing solidarity and Unity. On this Unity Day USA, we the people of the United States of America; of every faith, race, ethnicity, culture and background, gather to pray for peace, unity and security of our nation. 5 Cities were represented by Mayors and council persons; 12 Religious prayers and songs were rendered by Religious leaders; 6 Men and women were appreciated for their contribution for building bridges and working for Unity. The keynote was delivered by Daisy Khan, the national speaker on Unity. Proclamations from the Cities of Plano, Richardson, Addison, Carrollton, Frisco and letters of appreciation from Congresspersons; Eddie Bernice Johnson, Pete Sessions, Sam Johnson and Kenny Marchant.
